Upon recently discovering Abra I was very interested in its origin and how it was born of family and passion. I purchased the New World coffee because it has the notes of flavors I prefer in coffee and I was blown away. It’s not often that coffee taste so it’s own and have such a rich flavor. I’m so glad I found this brand and look forward to trying more from all over the world. Offers a great product and experience.
The Costa Rican coffee is an excellent coffee! It is exemplary of the full "black" honey process and the roasting beautifully let's this shine through. The coffee has an incredible aroma and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel and brown sugar. Additionally, the coffee leaves a pleasant lingering flavor on the palate.
As for the overall experience, the website is easy to use and the service was efficient and attentive. The idea of supporting sustainable practices, growers and trying different coffees every month makes the coffee drinking experience satisfying and exciting!
The Malawi is great. Smooth and light. It’s good for an afternoon cup, as to not keep you up all night.
Yooooo the Costa Rica is legit!! Definitely a pleasant flavor profile. Reminds me of my time in Costa. I’m more used to Ethiopian and Columbian coffee lately for those nuttier, cocoa and notes of berry. This one is definitely keeping me interested.
The Malawi has a complex and rich acidic profile. Leaves an earthy aftertaste (lemongrass), reminds me of red wine, the way the taste really coats the mouth. Very good. May take a little longer to get used to. Enjoying this region that is new to me when it comes to coffee.
“New World” did not disappoint. Been loving these with V60 pour overs.
I really enjoyed the coffee I tried today! I'm a big advocate for coffee companies that are eco-friendly and sustainable! The coffee was really smooth, not too bold. Overall a really great medium roast!
