I ordered both and they’re delicious! My favorite is the New World one. So good!!!
I purchased Abra on a whim as I like to try the selections from different roasters. Zambia was a pleasant surprise and I’m so happy I tried it out!
My first time trying the regions of Haiti and Zambia, Abra Coffee has made me a fan! Both have a smooth finish and the perfect medium roast really brought out the flavor in the beans. I'd rate 10 stars if I could!
I was interested to try the Old World (Zambia) coffee but ended up getting the "Whole World Coffee" option - just because it's fun to get something from both the Old and New World. They are flavorful in their own way, but it's the New World (Haiti) coffee that surprised me. Glad I got both! I also liked the little print-outs of each coffee that I could hang on my wall as quick references.
The coffee is fresh and has a strong flavor. I like the design of the coffee bags. The shipping was quick.
I recently purchased Old World 🌍 medium roast from Abra. I usually drink my coffee ☕️ black with out adding anything so for me I like a great medium roast that is not to dark and not bitter. Zambia roast met everywhere expectation I had ....very smooth with a pleasant aftertaste that left me wanting a follow up sip immediately! What a great medium roast you won’t be disappointed! The great folks at Abra work hard to bring you the best roasts worldwide!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Thank you ABRA!!!! 😃☕️👌🏻
The Costa Rica medium roast was my favorite of the two excellent coffees that made up with "Whole World" sampler. I enjoyed the Malawi as well but if I had to pick a favorite...slight edge to the CR. The ordering, shipping and delivery of the coffee was a snap. I also enjoyed getting the extra information on the coffee's origin and roasting process on the cards. This is a great way to try different high end coffees at an affordable price point. Thank you!
The coffee itself was amazing and brewed fantastically in my Chemex. I love the little cards that you get with each coffee choice explaining the region, the process, and the flavor notes. Gives people the opportunity to learn more about coffee.
Recently had a delivery of the Malawi and thought the packaging from Abra was great. I appreciated the information card on the coffee itself and cute paperclip. Glad I had the coffee ground to work perfectly wit my chemex. The Malawi isn't a coffee I would normally choose based on the tasting notes as I usually favor more heavy/sweet notes but I was very happy with the medium roast with a light, refreshing taste. My GF and I are flying through the bag. Glad I made the purchase!
I brewed two Hario's and was able to nail the flavor on the 2nd brew using my Brew Coffee app: https://BrewCoffeeApp.com
The first batch tasted like molasses and a darker roast, but when I hit the timing the sweetness broke through with the Costa Rican coffee.
Thanks for the great coffee. I had to make one adjustment to finish in my 3 minute recipe. I changed the pour duration to finish by 2:10 so it could draw down by 3 minutes. It worked great with a 16.2:1 ratio using 21g coffee, 340g water. (30 second bloom, 2:10 pour, 3:00 finish time).
